Rejoice with me!

At 3:26pm today, the Apiary, home to Honeybee Healing Arts, was approved by the Health and Safety Inspector for the City of Saint Paul.  The site license will be printed and mailed tomorrow.

What exactly does this mean?  I am now legal, officially, to start booking clients in my solo space in the Dacotah Building!  I will be contacting clients who have provided me with contact information within the next few days.  My website will also go live within the next few days.

Right now, I’m focusing on sitting long enough to type this, and then resuming my squealing and hopping up and down.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, everyone who has supported, encouraged, and commiserated with me throughout the past six months.  It was a longer process than I anticipated, but I now have a brick-and-mortar business, and I look forward to seeing all of you there soon!

THANK YOU!!!

Hi, folks!  It’s been a while since I’ve posted.  It’s been a long journey getting my practice open, and I’ve felt deadlocked for the past couple months, but I think things are about to shift in a big way.  It has now officially been six months from my first contact with someone about my office space, and I am SO CLOSE to getting approval!  It’s now literally down to a line of screws in a wall in a bathroom down the hall.

I’m affectionately referring to the space as The Apiary, as it will soon be home to Honeybee Healing Arts (if all goes well with the City of St Paul!)  It’s all set up, and it is beauuuuuuuutiful.  It’s in the Dacotah Building, home to W.A.Frost and Paper Patisserie, up two shallow, winding flights to the third floor, using the center door (neither the door for WAF or PP, but right between them at 370 Summit).  I have a private waiting room, just to the left of the top of the stairs, through the door, and the office itself is tucked away behind it.  Built-in bookshelves, hardwood floors, skylight… I can hardly wait to show you!

I will be contacting clients who have followed me as soon as I hear from the City.  Until then, I am still available at Avivage (651-222-8222).  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to be in touch!  You can reach me most easily through email, at erin.cn.busby@gmail.com, or by texting or calling 612-408-6552.  Texting is highly encouraged — it gives me a written record of your request without having to take notes, and I check texts more immediately than I check voicemail.  I’m also about to go live with my website, http://www.erinbusby.com (it’s not up yet, but should be in the next few days!)  My clients are tremendously important to me, and I’m looking forward to having a settled home base for you to come to!  Shouldn’t be long now!

Thank you all for your tremendous support and patience!
